Meet the teacher:

Elena Chirkova, has over 20 years of experience in the fashion, modeling and TV industries.

Her Master’s degree in Education and Bachelor’s degree in Fashion combined with her successful career as a model led to the foundation of "Dance in Style" in 1998, a design company specializing in Ballroom Dancewear (American Smooth, International Standard, Latin, Rhythm, and Social Dancewear) for any ages. In 2007 “Dance in Style" successfully relocated from Europe to United States and expanded to skate wear and rhythmic gymnastics competition costumes.

Elena’s love for Fashion started at the earlier age when she began sewing at age 8 and designing her own clothes at age 11. At age 14 she became a professional model for years while she has worked as Runway, Print, TV and Commercial Model. Throughout her successful modeling career Elena has learned from professional- well known European designers (including Jean- Claude Bonucci)  how to work with clients and how to make the dress fit with client’s personality. Elena’s diverse industry experience and artistic talent led to development of sophisticated and fashion-forward style that she offered to her clients for many years. As a professional educator and genuinely caring and passionate person Elena always enjoying opportunity to teach young creative people and aspiring artists by sharing her experience and knowledge in the industry.
