ABOUT THIS PATHWAY

Fashion Pathway at Carlsbad HS consist of two courses: Fashion 1 and Fashion 2 and focuses on the major aspects of the fashion industry while prepares students for careers and/or post-secondary education in this rapidly growing field.

Students pursuing this career pathway have in-depth, hands-on experiences that focus on industry awareness, sustainable practices, elements and principles of design, history of fashion, fashion forecasting, textiles, product knowledge, apparel merchandising, and garment production.

 Both courses in our Pathway are very hands on and project-based, where students learn how to work successfully both in teams and on they own.
